Sleep talking

Last night I had to go get Benny and bring him into our bed as he was not feeling well and needed some soothing (we normally make him suck it up and stay in his own bed). All of a sudden he shouted "sucker!" and rolled over and went back to sleep.

I always wondered what babies dreamed about. Suckers sound good to me

As long as he was talking about the candy suckers and not about you for letting him sleep in your bed! :o) He's such a funny kid!

Your last few posts about Benny are so cute. Love it, love it.

Ha ha, I thought he was calling you a sucker for letting him sleep in your bed. I've always wondered if babies dream about drinking bottles. Perhaps they really do dream about stuff like that.

No, he REALLY LOVES suckers and I really thought he was awake and asking for one. And yes, I am sucker too for getting him, but when I'm sick too and just barely getting some sleep myself, I'm going to do what it takes to keep sleeping, even if I keep getting kicked in the ribs or punched in the face every few minutes

That's cute! There was a time when I told Jordan stories to get him to fall asleep and I just made sure there were lots of words he liked in the story like trains, suckers, balloons, kids, toys etc. I thought maybe the stories would continue to his dreams. He would always fall asleep really fast that way.
There is nothing worse than having a sick child while being sick yourself (since you don't get a sick day). I hope everyone gets better. I amazed you can sleep with him in your bed. There is only one time that I let Jordan sleep with us (Braden never has) and that was when he was sick too but I got absolutely no sleep those few days and Justin had to sleep on the couch because with Jordan in the bed there wasn't room for three. Actually I even felt there wasn't room for two if Jordan was one of the two. Hopefully Ben is a little better at sharing his sleeping space.
Thanks for your comments on my blog. I appreciate it. Hope all is well.
